Would TIG clan be interested in organising a friendly clan match with halflife2.net|clan in Battlefield 2
Preferably we would play Sunday evening GMT on a 32 player map server
If you are up for it post the details here and we'll iron out dates, times etc.
Normal clan match rules would apply - 2 maps (one chosen by each team) played for 20 minutes twice with a team rotation

So what say you - it would be great fun...

Sounds like fun, we have server etc.

Not sure if we've anything planned for this Sunday, but I'm sure we can play before or after if we do.

Let's pencil it in.

Our map choice is Gulf of Oman for old times (demo *cough) sake :)

Just a few things to clarify -
We would prefer global unlocks seeing as it is a friendly match but that is ultimately your call seeing as we will be playing on your server
I assume that there will be a team rotation after each round - 2 rounds on each map with a 5 minute warmup before going live then 20 minute time limit
Attacking uncappables should be allowed but no uncappeable camping
You may have to raise minimum ping on the server to 300'ish, we are a global clan with members from as far a way as Korea  but it has never been a problem in the past

We have a full team ready with standbys and i hope you guys are ready

Now all i need is an IP address (i'd like to join the server just to make sure to make sure there are no ping or connection issues) and password something like tigbf2

Cant wait  :P

Hi skeletor.

Oman? Great.

Unfortunatly, we have our match server setup with stock weapons only, as most clan matches demand it. The majority of us generally don't play on public servers for stats and unlocked weapons and find the stock weapons to be a fair and equal baseline.

You can access our servers @ 82.195.136.136:16567 and 82.195.136.136:16568

The match server itself is 82.195.136.136:16569 but either of the ranked servers above are a good litmus test for the match server.

We'll raise minimum ping across the board this evening.

If you can find your way onto quakenet IRC and #tig.ie I'll pm you the password.

Thanks,

 :odlums:  :salute:

Thanks for the game, second time someone asked us for 16 and then showed up with 10 :(

Come back and ask us for rematch when you have the numbers :)
