HTTP Error 404
« on: March 25, 2007, 09:45:34 AM »
Hi lads,

I have a problem with my main PC. Every time I try and access the TiG site on IE it returns a HTTP Error 404. Accessing from the laptop is fine. Any ideas on how to fix it?

Neil.

Dave

Main PC is 192.168.1.3
Lappy is 192.168.1.2

I dont know WTF is happening. I think it started after the TiG site was moved to the new box.

Try this:
Ping theirishguard.com
put the IP after http://
and enter it that way, and then try by typing
theirishguard.com

syco that won't work with the ip i'm afraid.....

nelix try do ping www.theirishguard.com and see what ip it recon's its pinging, it should be 84.51.234.162.

If its not that would be why the 404 exists and can see why the dns would be old/b0rked....
