a good day for a keep raid
« on: June 25, 2009, 07:43:27 PM »
took part in my 1st big scale keep raid in warhammer. 2 warbands was alot of fun with the order chuckn oil over us as we were in the ram trying to break the outside door of the keep defence. and then the next door.

was realy smokey like as if fires wer burning away made it look great.

outside the keep and its walled defences

broke the 1st door down.

inside the walls we had the castle and we had to break the door down while they tried to stop us.

view from the top of the keep after we kicked ass

aye its the same layout.

u hear that alot on youtube omg warhammer ripped off wow. but wow was ment to have ripped of alot of stuff from other mmos. but if it makes it easy for wow players to move over and get stuck into the game all the better.

I found wars interface pretty damn fugly when I was playing it. However, there's not a lot of difference between all of the major mmo's in that regard.

My issue with keep sieges was the aoe healing and dmg could go through floors. I'd just stand in a corner and the bottom and heal everyone, safe in the knowledge nothing could touch me bar a mage on the top floor rain of firing THROUGH the damn building.

After that, I gave up on the game.

Ah a lot has changed Molc,i played it again a few months back and was surprised to see how far it has come on.
Im a pve whore at heart but warhammer was the first and only MMO that i actually enjoyed pvp.
I do miss my little healing shaman :)

Aye im playing WOW Abe, jump in the water is hot :)

I was only playing 2 months back and these were still major issues. I'm sure they'll fix it at osme stage, but for me it was unforgivable :)

Must admit to being tempted to resub now that you have Abe.
That little shaman i have is probably the most fun ive had in an MMO.

my own personal healer  :?:

yea i loved the shaman but the black orc can eat up so much dmg. ( but i still die alot as a big orange geared orc up the front catches peoples eye and BOOM!!! UR DEAD LOL fun tho.
lvling aint a pain in the arse like in wow. yes it has a few bugs but sure its only a new game compared to wow that has had ages to sort things.

id say to the guys to try the 10day free trial that they have goin atm. and id roll a new toon to quest and rvr with them if they wanted i wouldnt mind leveling a healer.

few of the guys done the 10day trial and said it was like wow. u dnt have to do the pve u can go RVR all day and still lvl as fast as doing all the pve stuff.

the game is a game were u swap about.  lill bita pve here then off to seige a keep and then mabey a battleground fight if u like. or u can go do instances or u can just do ur professions ( i havent bothered am to busy fighting.

its great as if no1 is on u can join open parties and quest with them or take a keep with them so u dnt have to have people on in ur guild to do stuff.

Yeah the open parties system is excellent, no need for LFG.
