Looks Bf2 wont be getting much more attention from Ea/Dice ,theyre little money making bulldung is already moving on as seen on Totalbf2.com

Well it appears the folks over at PC Gamer have got their hands on a new video for the upcoming Battlefield series title, Battlefield 2142. The video appears to show the opening sequence to the game but little is still known about the game itself.

Looks like they are doing another BF:Vietnam.

The graphics on it are the same engine as BF2 just a little bit beefed up. There appears to be nothing new execpt for how the "vehicles" look and the enviroment.

I still wish they would finish BF2 before trying to churn out another game. But tbh, thats EA's hand as per usual.

going to be odd how they are going to balance mech's vs troops...without making it entirely stupidly unrealistic......

tell ya what this looks not bad.
what seems to be plasma rounds, invis feature and mechs all good.

I dont know tbh.Bf2's build up got me all exited but it ended up to be like bringing a busty blonde home,getting her in the sack only to find it she has a .... ya know .

I think that DICE going to crash... cos this game is for pll over 16 years, but nobody over 13 will be want play this ... this... this... hmmm... WTF is this?

A while ago it was reported a open beta (!) would be released in August ... Most likely for balancing, which is great as it usual took a while before overpowered units were toned down at release (LAW unit in BFV for example).

I don't think balancing units vs mech will be that much of a trouble, but toning down the units. Everyone has easy access to grenades that immobilize vehicles. Stuff like sentry turrets is what gets me worried more.

Troublesome that I'll have to find another clan then which hopefully resembles my short experience here even closely ;)

i would think so. BF2142 demo is fairly disappointed. An average mod at best

Well I could translate a review I recently made, although I doubt I'll actually do that.
Haven't played the demo, but I do like the various gameplay changes (as a player now you have much more options available to you) even though it merely resembles a mod from the outside. There is more to it.

Those that do play, xfire is still Alegis.
