Title: BFV Music In Vista
Post by: [GIT]Fairy on December 18, 2008, 03:07:42 PM
I read that if you run the exe file in the "Windows NT 4.0 Service pack 5" all music is enabled and the game runs fine, including that you wont get kicked by punkbuster?  Anyone tried this?

Is that some file in the service pack itself?  or probably just compatibility mode?

No, it's not. Forget why, but I know you'll get some odd CTD due to using it.

Aye. Should be ok. All I know is that it caused me grief. Am using the mini-image now, though, as the DVD drive isn't reading the CD. Connection problem happened when I was upgrading my machine. May need to get a SATA DVD drive to sort it out.
