This is what the Commander sees.  It doesnt look too complex...

I saw a pic somewhere that showed troops getting out of the heli by sliding down a rope from it.
Much better than just bailing out when your low and your chute down't work :cry:

whom among us is chomping at the bit to try out this commander mode? maybe some old-school C&Cr's. Looks interesting but im not sure its my cup of tea.

They've not included the rope deployment in game.  Pity as it would have been cool.
