Ok guys this is a BF1942 graphically similar game with MMO added in.  It looks like it might interest some of us.  Theres a 14 day free trial as well, myself and Karma are grabbing it down at the moment :

Loads of info on the site there.  Its not graphically stunning or anything like that, but from reading up on it seems to offer those BF style moments that really defined that game.  Well worth a try imo.  If anyone is up for giving it a try post here and grab the installer down.

It's a pity http://www.battlegroundeurope.com/account redirects you to https://secure.wwiionline.com/users/login.jsp?redirect=%2Fusers%2Fmanage.jsp%3Fdo%3D which doesn't give you an option to sign up
