Title: Bloody PC game'age is expensive!!

Hello all, you may remember me. It's Val

Anyway, I went to install a copy of Splinter Cell: Double Agent, and it tells me my system is not up to spec, something about pixel shader 3.0 needed.

So it seems my X800 pro is not up to speed anymore!  :odlums:

An upgrade is due it seems.  :ph33r:

Ah get yerself an 8800GTX. From the reviews they look fantastic. Will only set you back 650 odd euro ;)

Aye the 8800gxt is close in performance to 2 top end cards in sli or xfire.

Aye, but I have to upgrade my Mobo, CPU, memory and card!!

I am setting aside money after January to spend, so we shall see.  :mrgreen:

EvE graphics engine revamp coming up soon, total overhaul and I want my big BattleShip to look really scary!!  :ph33r:
