Pre-ordered, but not sure if HMV (have a voucher for them) are doing the beta or not.

How much are they these days? Meh "evaluation version" runs out in March. Must either go back to XP, buy W7, or find a good patch for W7...

Am using vista since its releae with no issues but i hear W7 is great.

Got an oem version of win 7 ultimate (x86 & x64, need to select which ver you want to install) that updates, activates etc. It seems to generate a unique key each time its installed. If anyone wants a copy just pm me your address.  :salute:

I installed it on a reformat of my hdd. Not sure if you can use it to upgrade old operating system.

after using vista since release as well cully but got windows 7 home premium in october its in a different than vista league so much faster and reliable.

ya i bought it and got the beta access. Although actually getting in the game and playing seems to be proving difficult. I keep getting this message when i try to play ""Connection to the game server has been lost. Please check your network connection and try again." ".

Apparently a number of other people r having this prob over on the ea forums. Some of them were saying just click 'play now' before logging in and it should work that way but no joy. I have giving it all the permissions in the firewall so i dunno what the story is. Anyone got any ideas?
