Here's why,

Every time a phantom passes and drops its load I get the fucking napalm sound ringing and cycling through my speakers for THE REST OF THE GODDAMN FUCKING ROUND!!! It drives me out of my mind!!!!

I can't hear choppers. i can't hear Fairy spawning behind me with his knife around my neck.... I caint hear shit, muthafukka!

Does anyone else have this problem? How do I fix it before I travel to Sweden and smash my large old heavy monitor over the head of a DICE Employee for providing such amusement but still taking a little back....

I get it every now and then. The new patch seems to have created more bugs than it's fixed. Roll on version 2.0

i only got it once actually, and that was at a net cafe while playing on a lan. I is really annoying alright

Press esc to go to the main game menu, and esc again to return to your game. It should fix it.

press escape during the game
go to sound options and knock off
Enable all sounds
then click it on again
jump back in the game and wolla :lol: its gone

Worked the 3 times i needed it

it doesnt jim,here is a workaround.goto ur sound options,where it say enable ingame sounds unclick that then press escape,then go back yo soundoptions then reclick enable ingame sounds,then when u return to game sound is gone,works for me everytime..hope this helps

Thanks Lads.

I've gone through the turning sound off shit before, but it didn't work for me. i had to actually disconnect, and even quit the game I think.

That's different though Ark, I think. I'll give that a go next time......

this happened to me for the first time yesterday, and i couldn't get it to stop, and so i had to reconnect to get it to stop. was really loud too

Ive had it a few times now. The fix I have found is the following:

Press Esc and go into your sound settings. I moved the slider from 64 channels to 32, then saved it then put it back at 64. You can also fiddle with other settings and save it then put them back to normal.

The sound channels one always worked for me though. Id say try that one next time.

Do you always have to disconnect if this problum wont go away when you go into sound options? Got it yesterday and had it for about two full games!

I got this on sunday night. It was really low in volume but it replaced all other sounds... a tank crept right up behind me and I didnt hear a thing. Couldnt hear gunshots or helicopters or explosions... tried all the sound things but in the end had to quit the game completely then couldnt log back on to the server because some fecker jumped into my space

well it depends. As mentioned above there are a few things that might fix it. I don't gte it all the much (thank god), but when i do, sometimes just pressing escape makes it stop. Or else u have to go into sound setting s and turn off all sounds and put them back on again. Or switching the sound channels from 64 to 32 works for some people. Anyway this bug is supposedly been fixed in the new patch that ment to be out by the end of the month
