Much different to the v1.0 preview?
-
Pretty much the same tbh... just a few bug fixes and several other thigns users dont really notice. Although one odd thing is the homepage:
http://www.google.ie/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official
Google humm? The rumours of Gbrowser based on Firefox spring to mind.

Not too weird when you consider Firefox has had a google search bar embedded in it for a few versions now.
Yet another reason to switch from idiot ie.

If you're not convinced to switch yet i recommend viewing stopie.com ;)
Firefox is ace, but better with the plugins. allow me to make a small list of my fav plugins for now:
Flashgot (http://software.informaction.com/catalog/index.php?product=flashgot): So you can download with getright etc. Commands like download all files on page etc
AdBlock (http://adblock.mozdev.org/): Fantastic plugin! Block ads etc (images AND flash (and iframes (google words)). Works also with wildcars (block all images from site or path). Greatly improves surfing experience to those sites you frequently visit.
ImageZoom (http://www.yellowgorilla.net/imagezoom/): right click images and use scroll to zoom in/out
Webmailcompose (http://jedbrown.net/mozilla/): Right click on an email adress, click ze button to immediately open a compose mail page from your favorite email site to that email adress. Very handy!
BBcode (http://jedbrown.net/mozilla/) : select words, right mouse click to add bbcode. Handy for those that visit a lot of fora (like me)
GMail notifier (http://www.nexgenmedia.net/extensions/): For those with gmail
Xmirror (http://www.meatme.net/publish/) Adds 2 more extension sites in the extension menu
All in one mouse gestures (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/marc.boullet/ext/extensions-en.html): if you want mouse gestures etc, this is your extension. By moving your right mouse button (dragging) you execute commands. This one's very good because it leaves a red trail
Tabbrowser extensions (http://piro.sakura.ne.jp/xul/_tabextensions.html.en): Adds more preferences for tabbed browsing
Cutemenus (http://cute.mozdev.org/): adds images for right mouse click commands. Nice
Bugmenot (http://extensions.roachfiend.com/index.php): Use fake registration info on sites :)
