cod 4 single player

so today i found myself abit bored of playing wow and picked up COD4 single player.

i thought it would been the usual fps single player with crapy story line and not well put together. man i loved it and its graphics are top class, wow is so ugly lol.

so my point is can anyone recommend  any good games that have a real good story u can sink into and enjoy.

never realy liked half life tbh. just not into stupid monster friends talking to u etc.

although the mindless zombies in resident evil games is right up my street.

I love the cod4 single campaign too. It was really intense when u go into fire fights and realistic enough to enjoy it too. I loved popping people with head shots. I love the mission where u were in bomber blowing the crap out of people on the ground. As for a new game to play. I highly recommend Bioshock if u haven't played it already. I currently playing through it now, almost finished, and i think it has a really good captivating story and it it feels different to other fps's. The graphics r also really sweet too

COD4 sp was the first sp I'd played in ages, maybe even years, and I really enjoyed it, felt like playing through an action movie.

I agree,Bioshock has an ace story for a singleplayer Abe,plus its an all round class game.

COD4 is excellent, some of those missions were amazing, I preferred teh SAS ones but even teh last USMC one was something special.

Another vote for Bioshock.  One of the levels (Fort Frolic) is one of the best levels I've played in any game.

The storyline in Bioshock is clever.  There were several moments that I will just never forget.

Always wanted to play Hitman tho and Splinter cell.Anyone know if there any good?

but of them r great. They're very similar in game play. All about be stealthy and not getting noticed. I enjoy splinter cell more. have played all of the SC series. Much nice gfx and better stealthy moves that sam fisher can do :)

Bah !!! Crysis made my pc cry :( ,and this rig would give the average nerd a hard-on ,wasnt a bad game til ye got on the spaceship,then it got all Beatles yellow submarine :S

yeah freakin' crysis would only run on medium on my setup. It has more than enough to run a game on full. Valen how can u say bioshock was shite. Its awesome! I has a really good story line that pulls in u further and makes u want to play it more. The gfx r awesome. I love the plasmids too. lots of fun ;). why did u like it?
