Now although my post will not be as long as Fairys well mainly because you all know  why i jumped ship on the 2/3 occasions, and it was because of this shit the same arguments over and over no matter what game it was in. But i do think i could have handle things a bit better so to all TiGgers offended by my posting well sorry for that but i stand by my comments 100%.

But just reading what Fairy has said regarding no planning this in advance, i will bear witness to that because  if i really knew that this would happen do you actually think i would re-joined the day before i left again, you all know me better than that i would have posted anyway.

So Fellas to end it GL and Hf in future matches etc

The last couple of days has left me with a feeling of betrayal. Its something I've tried to ignore as I know its pointless to feel like this, people want to move on and theres nothing I can do about it, fair enough. While I didn't make any accusations (at least I don't think I did) but as you said things moved awfully fast the last couple of days so its only natural that certain ideas about what really went on would enter my mind.

Having said that though I personally don't think you did this maliciously, nor do I think that you coaxed players away from us to pop. I hold no ill feelings toward you Dermot or anyone else in pop. I have been sicked slightly myself by this whole affair. Although I took a long break from TiG and have only been semi active recently I always considered it my home as far as the Irish gaming community went, and thats what it was, a place where mates could kick back and play a few games and chat on irc and the forums etc. In that respect I wanted to save TiG from going under, and this morning it didn't look as if there was anything left to save. I thank the members who stayed with us hoping we'd come out of it, and (as I said) hold nothing against the people who left.

I thought the problems we were currently having over the last week could have been easily resolved, I certainly  didn't think it would lead to this. But as you say you just had enough of the thankless job you were doing (and it is very thankless) and thats fair enough.

PoP members are always welcome on our forums/irc/servers/ts etc... and I hope any resentment is shortlived.

I can state now to all those that have accused me or asked me was this all planned in the last few weeks?  Well it wasn't.  I'm sick to the guts that that was even inferred to me.
I think I may have asked or mentioned the pre-planning, and it was more out of bewilderment, than anything else. Saying that, anything you've done (esp organization of the LAN's) was done fully, so I think it looking like it was done in advance, was just you doing what you do very well.

I can't speak for everyone, but anyone asking was this all done in advance were probably just as bewildered as myself when I heard the news, and thus grasped for straws when asking what happened. I doubt any offense was meant.

Well,

It's been a hectic couple of days around here. Unfortunately It did cross my mind that the whole thing may have been planned, for that I apologise. However I sincerly hope you see how that could have been a logical assumption given the circumstances.

I was just as shocked as everyone else after your resignation the other night and when i spoke to you i knew it was inevitable at that point that a split would most likely happen. I was probably selfish in the respect that I didn't want something to end that I had come to maybe take for granted, but I've made a lot of friends here and did not want to see that fall apart.

Now that things have settled I do genuinely wish both clans the very best of luck as I neither want to see TiG end nor POP as I now have friends in both teams. More Irish clans is something I have openly asked for for a long time, so I want to now look at this as a positive thing that will benefit everyone in the long run. Maybe this how clans actually work, we have been kinda making it up as we go along after all, and judging by other clans we have encountered in the past this kind of thing happens a lot and we did get a good 4 years out of it. I guess its just sad when something ends.

I hope we all can maintain frendships and game together now when all is said and done, its the end of one thing and the beginning of something new for everyone.

Well I'm just going to add to Karma's sentiments that I hope both clans can remain friendly and looking forward to many games in the future.

Good luck to PoP in everything in the future.
