Alrighty. There has been questions about me and a hack I was using to play BF2. At the time I was using a GeForce4, which was below the min spec. So far below, actually, that tank were pretty much invisable to me, and without the hack, I wasn't able to play the game.

A few people have asked what I see, well, EA says its not possible, but with a little program called "TatniumD3D.exe", it is. Below is what I see:

These "blue streaks" appear all the time. No reason, totally random. Very annoying. As you can see from "Blue Streak 3", it makes it harder to snipe with

As you can see, I can't see tanks. Often can run over by them, as i don't see them coming.

So after Christmas, with some money I got in an Christmas job, I got a new rig. And stopped using the hack, uninstalled BF2 of my old rig, and continued playing. Then, one day, I tried to join a server which uses Punkbuster's Master Ban List, and I found out my pb_guid was blacklisted. Below is what I wrote to them:

I recently found out that I was on PunkBusters "BF2 master ban list", and ask if there is some way for me to be taken off?

My PB_GUID: ********************************** (As BF2 in uninstalled from the PC that I used the shader-hack on, I got this from the PC which I have installed it onto. Same CD-KEY, different machine, in case that makes any difference).

I was using the shader-hack "TatniumD3D.exe" at the time, by looking at the screenshots on your site. I used this so that I could run BF2 on my 64MB GeForce4, which fell (far) below the minimum specs required. As you can see from the link:

I couldn't see much in the way of textures. My mini-map was a nuisance at best, and I was unable to tell friend from foe @ a distance, as only a weird white box appeared above their head. Also, on occasion, blue lines would appear, and sometimes blue-out the entire screen. That, and I could only see the turret of the tanks. Since then, and after some saving, I've gotten a new rig, including a 7800GT, so I no longer use the shader-hack. If possible, is there any way that I could get my cd-key taken off the blacklist, so that I may use it to play on my new machine, in PunkBuster servers?

Also, if you're wondering why it took for so long for me to notice, I only found out I was blacklisted when I asked the SAS clan why I was banned from their server.

So eh, yeah. I acknowledge that the above is kind of shooting myself in the foot, but I see no reason to lie. If you wan to continue to blacklist me, I'll buy a new copy of BF2, but if possible, I'd like to continue to play with my existing key. My reason for using the hack at the time was that I didn't have EUR250 lying around that I could spend on a graphics card with a shader version 1.4.

Although I can appreciate one of the best, most immaginative excuses I have read sinse doing appeals here at PsB. You are still between a rock and a hard place. PsB has a zero tolerance policy for cheats. The ban will not be released as I can't accept the underpowered vid card as a reason to have cheats. You will have to buy a new game to obtain a new cd-key.

just get pic's of that and send it 2 them takes about a day or 2.
