Alas, I just find midlans painful at this stage, based on past experiences. Would much prefer a TiG pissup/LAN, even if it meant us renting out a hall somewhere ors.

Aye, it's a bit of a pain (seats), but I'll be going.

I plan on playing the Wii bowling compo again: it's fun. Just need to get a bit of practise in first.

Seemingly the ?50 allows them to just about break even.

Molc: renting out a place sounds like a good idea, but where, and where in a good area, that'll allow us stay in the place overnight. Something to look into, though.

Say we did / do get a venue.  How are we set up for equipment, or who could get the equipment required.  I wouldnt have a clue about settin a server up like   :odlums:  Then net connection, yay or nay, if so wat would we be lookin for.
