ok guys need sum info on how or what program i can use to get back a file that i deleted  a while back.

ive heard that when u delete sumthing its never gone.
does any1 have any ideas or know how on how 2 do this.


so any help would be great as i need it. :salute:

I deleted a file from my trash can a while back and used a program called restoration.  Its only 192 kb in size so I can pass it over to you via msn or email it to you if you want

but was that soon after u deleted it.

ive deleted this file ages ago. :roll:

naw ive tryed 4 programs even taht 1 chunks  and i doesnt seem to be picking anything up  :(  gawd dam! :roll:

When you empty the recycle bin and delete a file, it isnt really gone. What happens is, you "give permission" for windows to write onto the same space in the file system that contained your file and windows then counts this as free space.

So if it was a recent delete you have a high chance of the space not being used and your file still there. But if it was ages ago.... forget it.
