Bah BFV is dead and nearly buried.  We played some great DC at the TiG Lan Chunks, it rocked.  BFV is just filling time to BF2 TBH.

yeh, I don't get any enjoyment from publics in BFV yet I do in 1942 and i've been playing 1942 since the demo.

/me looks at Luc to set server up as DC for a weekend maybe.  Some bf1942 and dc mappage would be cool.

Heathens the lot of ya! Hated Dc myself..still love the old BFV, and i get the feeling well be playing it for a while after bf2s release...while waiting for EA to patch all the bugs  :roll:

Wow, a BfV addict.
I can't see too many agreeing with that tho, Bf2 anticipation is high.

I'm just about sick to the back teeth of Nam, I have to say.
Playing Nam ranks up there with washing my teeth and getting my eyes tested.
Anything short of progress or teamwork and I'd rather watch the mindless drivel that took over TV while I was gaming for the last few months.

Its nice to see people still love the game.
If they released it at v1.2+ then it would have been sweetness on a stick.
Tho PB have definitely made my list.

I just have a feeling BF2 will be as f*ckered as BFV was on its release. Remember the M60/LAW loadout?? Bloody hell...  :roll:

What were they thinking.
NVA could never use tanks as everyone had the M60 of doom and hence a convenient LAW.
M16 kills were rare.
Getting shot with an M14 was like 'wtf?'.
Still, good memories...
Just made me love NVA.

I think we'd all be a lot happier playing BFV now if we didn't have BF2 to look forward to in the near future.  Nam is probably the best FPS I've played since Doom :)

i have the feeling i'll never like BF2 as much as i like nam, i may look back at ths post in a few months and eat the biggest piece of humble piece ever.

i think its the whole nam thing i like about it, perhaps there will be a vietnam mod of BF2 with all its interesting features.

the talk of this ironsights as well which i only found out about at the lan really bugs me for some reason. i don't want them god damnit, which muppets decided that

ffs, I'm building a cryo-chamber.
Iron sights will probably make no difference.
Flashpoint iron sights were fine and still madly accurate.
Build a bridge...
Get some sight-hacks.  :roll:
