Hi Gents,
I am looking to buy a new external HD to back up all my docs and was wondering if any of you could recommend a good performing drive? I am looking for at least 500GB and and up to ?100 in price.
Thanks,
Neil.

Appears to be a more rugged case than the seagate. 1TB externals are less than ?100 these days...which is nice.

Aye, we have 6 of the ones Tony posted here in the office and they rock. Only slight issue, 2 of their power supplies have blown on us. Not sure if it's a general issue or we're just unlucky.

TiG Tony says choosing a hard drive is like making love to a beatuiful woman.
You set her up, plug yerself in, and stuff her full of your unsoftware.
