Title: HDD Problems

right having a few problems with the system drive here a velociraptor 300gb slows down massively mid game while it seems to be searching for files then after a few seconds spins up to full speed again only seems to have happend since last windows install but not sure what is causing it

has anyone had trouble like this before if so what was the solution

have defraged etc aswell but no luck

you sure you got indexing disabled? or any app that 'watches' folders? (itunes can do this amongst alot of other music apps, and things like dropbox)


Though for a high end rig like you always have you not got enough ram so there are no hd-reads in game except at load?
