Title: Help with new CPU
Post by: [TiG]valen on August 12, 2005, 12:24:05 PM
Lo lads

As you know, my pc went tits up last night. After inspection from my local repair shop, it turns out my hard drive killed itself. (All the porn no doubt)

Wel, I have decided to upgrade a few bits.

I have an Asus K8V SE D s754 with AMD Athlon 64 3200+ clawhammer.

I was thinking of....

Asus A8V Deluxe s939
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Deigo
Seagate 160gig SATA

Help please?

 :salute:

Just wack in a new hd for the moment Austin.  No point in upgrading until you are going down the PCIE road.
