Started building this machine a few months ago.
I know the AMD processor better for gaming but I do other stuff with PC as well.

Motherboard : ABIT AG8-3rd-eye
Processor :  Pentium 4 CPU 3.00GHz Socket 775 HyperThreadingTechnology   Available - 2 Logical Processors
Memory : 3GB DDR RAM PC-3200 SDRAM at 400MHz. 2*1Gig & 2*512MB
Hard Disk : 2* Maxtor DiamondMax 10 300GB SATA 16MB 7200RPM NCQ. RAID 1 setup
Sound Card : Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS, PCI Soundcard, THX, 7.1, 24-bit/192KHz
Network Card : Integrated 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet Adaptor
Video Card : Radeon X800PRO 256MB PCI-E PCI Express, GDDR3, VIVO/DVI,
Operating System : Windows XP Home with SP2
Monitor : 17" CRT Monitor soon to be upgraded to 19" viewsonic 191s

sounds good m8,

i have:

MSI neo platinum 925Xe motherboard

3.4 (overclocked to 3.8 ) ghz Intel 64 bit CPU

2 gigs of kingston DDr2 Ram overclocked to 600 Mhz from 533mhz

ASUS RX850 Xt graphics card (overclocked as well)

western digital 160 Gb HDD

western digital 250 Gb external HDD

onboard sound (getting a new soundcard soon)

TFt screen(acer AL1414) , logitech MX1000 laser mouse and an ACk-5000Hl keyboard, + all networking card and so on

hummm... well, shano has ir right..., if its an ATi card get the latest catalyst and u can do it there very quickly and safly...

if not and u are an Nvidia kinda gay , sry guy, then, check out hothardware.com, http://www.tomshardware.com/index.html,

but honestly ur best friend is google.co.uk
just serch for 'overclocking a "insert card name here"' and see what u get.

Thanks again, made changes using latest catalyst. I'm now ready to join game before most anyone else when changing map. Ready before the map info screen shows up,  :D

how much may u ask are these machines i jsut bought a 790euros worth dell it runs bf 2 adn thats all i care and it runs it on high so bother how good your pc is its alwasy down to your pockets price is every thing if u wnat to know wast in it ask me after this post ^^ but its not as good as your machines but jsut to say 2-3gb ram is PIONTLESS it really is all it does in ggames is make the leverls load faster tahst alll oooo big deal if   there is more to getting a 2-3gb ram tell me

BF2 While runnig seems to use approx 1.3 gigs. So 300 mb are using swap space on your HD if you have just 1 Gig.
I have another machine running W2000 with 760 ram and I'm always running out. So if you can afford it there is no such thing as to much ram. Price been to factor.

well i just started into the building pc thingy and will be building 1 next year the 1 i have now a person called impurify on the [tig] sever built is as

amd xp 3000+ 2.3Ghz
asus A7NBX mother board
msi nivdia geforce FX 6500 128mb
1Gb of ram
500Gb hard drive space (2 hard drives)
2 dvd R/RW drives
