Title: New computer needed... what should I get?

With my computer being too old a rubbish to play BF2 or most new games, I think it's about time I bought a new one. Keeping the fact that I'm a poor student, what specs should I be looking to get and do you know of anywhere I could get dirty deeds done dirt cheap? Or, failing that, computers made dirt cheap.

I can only spend about ?350 - ?400 on a new computer. The closer to ?350 the better. I've seen a few that interest me but I'm no expert on this sort of thing.

do you have to replace your case you could just replace your graphics card and incease ram, thats what i did with a shit dell i had and now it rapes just about anything (almost)

Realisticly you cant get alot, with about ?500-?700 Youll be able to build a pc worlds apart from anything costing  ?350.

hummmmm, ide go with what Jallz said.. try www.cogestra.com and compare the prices that Jally gave to what is there.....
