thing is ive heard people sayn the i5's are just as good as the i7's are they worth that lill bit extra?
would it be better for me to drop down to the i5, an would i see a big difference in performance?

ill be making a decision today to hopefully get my order on my doorstep before Christmas

What GPU do you have at the moment, if its not up to it you will only Bottleneck the CPU. If you can afford the i7 then get it, but I'd go for i5 and a new GPU!

Consider the AMD route I took and put more into the GPU then?
