just overclocked the processor to 3.0ghz and ran 3dmark vantage and 3dmark 05





surprising how a small overclock can give so much extra bandwidth

Very nice overclock. Have yet to do so myself, due to the case fan being far slower than the one hooked on the TRUE120 heatsink. From the looks of it, you have a TRUE120 heatsick on yours, with two hugh fans on either side. Nice. Ran 3d mark myself, falling far short of yours, but meh, I expected to fall short, as you do have an i7 rig, with two 280's. Fuck ye :P

well ran them both again yesterday got much better scores
reckon processor is holding back the cards now so might try get it to 3.4ghz or 3.6 should make a huge difference

right processor overclocked to 3.6ghz nice increase in 05



not as big an increase in vantage but still not to bad
