When i installed patch i tried to conncet to a server kept crashing at 46% so i uninstall and does the same anyone got any help for me?

Don't know if this is any use, but I got that problem with the demo, and once or twice with the full... Found that alt tabbing in and out of bf2 worked, but give it time....

i got the same thing as well, i uninstalled the game and installed it again and it soted itself out but now every time i join the tig servers or any other one in fact.
the message i keep getting is that i should uninstall any mods that i have and revert back to the offical ea version, only thing is i installed the 1.01 patch and thats it i even installed the game, wtf is ea at or is just me?

i haven't got any bf2 today and i'm starting to shake i need my fix!!!!!

Ok, just installed the patch now Shano and it's the same for me, freezes when it gets to 42 or 46 %... The alt tab trick works, don't know why or how, but it does.... Alt tab a couple of times, it should go up to 62%, then give it a minute and it'll load. Only happened the first time after the patch was installed....

been away all night and am just downloadin the patch now, do u think i should continue or what?
Realy in the mood to shoot some terrorists right about now, feckin crazy shit goin on over the water, mad world or what,. They should learn from us and take their frustrations out on foreigners in a nice fun but sufficiently viloent manner on BF2.

ever since installing the new v1.01 patch i haven't been able to connect to any server the reason being that i should revert back to my original ea version
it is pissing me off a small bit

i have reinstalled a few times and the same thing every time but when i was installing the game a few objects came up with MD5error's it gave me the option of trying again yes or no if i hit yes it does nothing but says it again and again, so i hot no and it got on with its job
this wasn't a problem with the v1.0 version

the problems files that couldn't be installed are

-  object_server.zip
-  dragon_valley\client.zip
-  gulf_of_oman\info\gpm_cq_32_menuMaps.png
-  bf2\movies\menu_loggedin.bik

i need this to be fixed for tonight of any one else can help me

that is the error message i get it says it can't install those so i just say no any way and it continues, but if i say yes then the same message will come up

MD5error: the following file could not be install to E:\games\bf2.......and the rest as above
