My headphones port
« on: October 14, 2005, 10:28:57 AM »
For some reason the black port in my soundcard has stopped working.  I ususally have my headphones plugged into it while my speakers are plugged into the usual green one.  All of a sudden last week the headphones one stopped working but the speakers one is still up and running.

I have to change the plugs from headphones to speakers etc whenever I game now and its getting annoying.  Any suggestions on gettting it fixed?

Maybe try uninstalling drivers and reinstalling, if that doesn't work then it might have kicked the bucket.

Most of us have had problems with sound after installing BF2.  I had mic problems etc.  Just have a look at all your settings making sure nothing is muted.

Unless you have really expensive surround sound speakers and still want to use them, I would strongly suggest a usb headset  :salute:
