just looked at my profile on the website and noticed i joined in june 2004 and tig was about for near a year before winters made the 1337 website.
what age is tig now, 5 year old already?

I remember our first clan match as well. Lost village on Desert Combat. We had great tacs that totally fell apart instantly. I even landed the black hawk perfectly on the tin roof at the factory, and then found I had no one to shoot at. Good Times.

There where some serious touching cloth moments all right.
Loosing the CB Cup Q Final by a few ticks to MB.
Hiding in a house in a BFV match with everyone sniggering.
Constantly listening for Jack or Brendy trying to knife you.
Jackie Wilson on LZA, played Karma.
And some classics :
Watching our WTF tacs in BFV lay waste to teams, "Fish In a Barrel Lads".
The North v South matches, which we always won, southern monkeys tbh.
Me blowing the wrong shit up in a BF2 match.
Jack leaving a clan match when his then partners water broke.

When yer man with the 32" screen turns to Karma and says I'll fly a chopper, the map was Hue. Karma replies cooly theres no choppers. Yer man says I'll hide in a bush and shoot people. Kevs face was really classic.

when i had the no.1 best kill to death ratio ever in the history of bfv and the server crashed!!!
it was on re.hue and i was rippen the hell out of the us bridge for near the whole game while fairy and the rest kept the mines down and we pwned them good gi.
my mortar skillz were so good the server crumbled.
all i heard was fairy screaming with laughter over ts at me i was gutted

That never happened ABE. Jesus the lies of you. I'll have to say of all the games I've ever played on a computer BFV was the best. It had the best mixure of decent game mechanics, WTF moments, and the best sound. It was easy to pick up what direction something was coming from in game.
Soggy trousers where always hard to hear though, grrrrr. All this talk just means we are going to have to play a game of it now.

Arkangels antics used to send Karma over the top as well. The time he ended up at the wrong side of the map and claimed he had been shot down and had parachuted to save a ticket.

It was a testament to TiG and the friendships we had that we could say things like that, and get away with it. I remember saying "At least I have One!" to Jack and he went into this crazy Gollum impression on the chair! His way of dealing with it ;-)
But my legs are a lot better now, they travel well!

Lo lads,
Reading this I have a lump in my throat, and tears in my eyes. Every Friday and Saturday night, I had my packet of Bensons and 8 pack of tennents all ready for a night of gamage and craic over TS. I can honestly say that the 2 years I was gaming with you guys were some of the best weekends I have had.
Then came the baby and real life took over. My wee lad is nearly 2 now and we have another due on 1st Nov, so I can't see a return to gaming any time soon. I might be tempted out of retirment for a old skool nite of BF:V and BF2 :salute:
PS: I was only joking about the lump and tears but it did bring back some brilliant memories.

Currently up till ZA Standard for a good few & prob could be further by time expansion comes out but a few people mentioned thoughts on waiting till expansion comes until try and gear up. Means raids like BT or Sunwell wouldnt really been seen as a achievement imo anyhow :P Know we'll get better green's/blues prob when exp is out but until then would be a nice goal :)

You could try sure but your gear would become defunkt as soon as exp. is released. Thinking instead of staying 10 man and just doing those at lvl 80 with the smaller group really.

Sure dont seem to be many doin Zul Gurrub,Molten Core or Blackrock Spire now :p Coulda been nice for people reachin 60 & I know better gear in outlands but gives a taste of raidin & for the craic :) Just think when expansion comes out Black Temple & Sunwell prob go the same way more than likely???

Doesn't give a taste for raiding at all since all the mobs are specificly tuned for lvl60 characters and for the gear they'd have at that lvl, doing them with lvl70's with stupidly good gear in comparison makes it kinda pointless. You can 5 man MC ffs (used to be 40 man)

Aye sure I went with my druid at 60 in outland gear to Zul'Gurub and it was piss easy.
As for a target, I think we all agree that it would be good to clear ZA between now and the expansion.
Oh and maybe try spite sometime :P
