I am not sure if you's are already aware of this but I downloaded
PBWEB from
http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=dl-bf2.phpI installed into my directory C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\pb and ran the program from here. PB seems to have updated and I can join the server without being kicked.
