Wireless mouse deadzone
« on: April 05, 2006, 07:06:00 PM »
Hi guys, I just got a new wireless mouse (welcome to the new millenium) and im getting some anoying dead zones even though the detector is close and directly in front of the mouse.

Any pointers on what could cause the dead zones? Ive tried removing interfering devices fromthe area (portable phones etc)... it does seem to come and go.

Thanks

Usually they say keep the mouse about 25 or 30cm or so away from the reciever. Im not exactly sure why.

Are you running the latest drivers/software for it? And what mouse is it?

I had a problem on old Logitech SetPoint drivers/software where if I was holding down two keyboard keys my mouse would stop moving. Kinda annoying when playing games ... updated drivers fixed it though.
