We made it back to Cherno and right outside of town we saw a small gathering of people, there were 5 guys, 1 had an M4 the rest shovels and axes and hammers with a mix of civilian clothes. Those 5 guys had about 10 people handcuffed outside of town, and I noticed they were bringing more people to their area in handcuffs. Me and my other 4 buddies were all completely geared out, cammo clothes, vest, helmets gas mask, M4's with about 100 bullets each, we decided to intervene. We snuck up to a bunch of bushes and a tree about 20 feet from their group (was odd we didn't find any of them pulling security, I mean this is DayZ). We decided to watch and see. All of them, including the ones capturing these people were using in-game chat, that meant these bandits were apart of an in-game pick up group. That was odd, what was also odd was that only 1 had a gun, and no random hero had come by and freed these people. Turns out they were trying to figure out how to work the medical system, a couple of them were sick and they thought taking blood from these guys would cure them, when 1 died they tried to figure out what happened through more trials. None of them realized there were different blood types, or they just didn't care and knew they were dead anyways if they didn't get some more blood. After 1 guy tried to escape the one with the gun was about to shoot him, then I killed him. My friends and I shot down every person who wasn't hand cuffed. We went to the people hand cuffed and they were appraising us. We then realized we needed blood... We blood tested every person who was hand cuffed, took blood from each of them, took other essential things from them (like food, half of a map, and a can opener) and told them to hit Q and E to get out (we didn't have hand cuff keys) And we left.
