AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ dual core
2GB DDR RAM
300GB SATA Harddrive
BFG GeForce 7950 GX2 1024MB Graphics
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 4 7.1 EAX Sound Card
550W Power supply.

Going to build myself a gaming machine.
recon this could play ET Quake wars and BF2142?

I think if you tried to install BF2142 on a machine such as the one you describe, it would spit the disk back in your face and then start slapping your around your gaming room. I could be wrong tho.

Bet it would last me awhile though,rather pay a little bit more for something that will last me a year or two.
right now I'm on a notebook that sounds like a barnyard when you do anything cpu intensive on it lol

plays FM2007 alright tho :P

Will be getting a machine for the end of the month, just to play neverwinter nights 2.
ET quake wars looks good though,been able to play that at a decent graphics setting would be brilliant.

2GB DDR2
Geforce 7950GT 512MB
200GB Hard drive

and I've just orderd BF2142 and a new set of Medusa's off play.com
