Yo my bi-atchs /me winks at jackabo

Wondering does anyone know where i could get some thermal pad/paste remover online/in cork

Oc uk has some but 27 euro seems a bit steep tbh

I should be able to get it for a couple of quid and post it to you. Do you just need remover? or do you need new thermal pads also?

If its remover you want use nail varnish remover.Available in the womens section of all leading pharmacies!!!
As for the thermal paste--?6.00 in Pc world.

Isopropyl Alcohol (Isopropanol) available from many pharmacies will do the job as well.  Good for cleaning anything from CRTs to the lens in an optical drive.

Actually, you probably want to use Methanol and a special lint-free cloth if you are cleaning lenses. The guy who cleans our microscopes here at work nearly had a conniption fit when we offered him IPA.

Good luck getting methanol at a pharmacy though...

Well if you could get some of the good stuff artic sliver or something along those lines i would be interested other wise ill just stick to wanting the remover as my new (ish) heatsink has some paste with it.so if you could pm me how much you would need when ever you can that would be great. :salute:

eh that post about the paste remover is over 9 years old....
but i always use cotton bud tips and rubbing alcohol..you can get it at the chemist..works every time.
some even use acetone as in nail polish remover but i dont recommend that
