I've been using AVG for a while and it seemed fine but now I have a few viruses but it won't let me heal, quarintine or delete them. Anyone else use any better free antivirus?

I use zonalarm.  It monitors all malicious traffic incoming and outgoing at all times and also has an anti-virus scan.

Haven't had any problems/viruses since my install a year ago

zone alarm has an anti-virus feature that uses your current installed anti-virus client.  Afaik, it doesnt have a build in anti-virus client, but correct me if im wrong.

I personally use Symantec Anti-virus, v9.  I've just installed v10, and while its pretty good, im having some minor difficulties.   Not sure of all the other anti-virus clients out there, AVG seems popular.

Here's a new one for you. It's called fprot and it's being around for years. There is a free version or for ?30 for you can the full edition that allows network drive scanning etc.

I've used it for the last year and it has managed to detect viruses in archives that none of my previous solutions ever saw. Personally I swear by this package. :!:
