New PC Monitor
« on: January 25, 2009, 08:54:02 PM »
I need a new monitor to go along with new PC when it arrives, the 19" I have here is slowly dying...

I've got a budget of ?200 delivered...

Looking at these three as contenders:

Asus VH226H 22" Widescreen True HD LCD Monitor - Black

Viewsonic VX2260wm 22" Widescreen True HD LCD Monitor

Samsung SM2343BW 23" Widescreen LCD Monitor

Any thoughts on these or others?  Keeping in mind HDMI, DVI-D, HD resolution, response time and contrast ratio.

re: gfx...I got your old 8800 GTS from legion there yesterday  :)

Also those ones don't have 1920x1080 resolutions?

good to see the legend lives on (the card not legion :P)

you wont really notice a massive difference between 1080 and 1050 imo and tbh 1050 is more than high enough at the size of monitor

Ok, so ?211.59 is about ?223. How much is shipping? If it's over ?17, ask the lads at elara.ie to order it in for you (usually takes stuff about two days for it to come in), and then after you pay for it, pick it up from them at Park West.
