EA has out of the blue released a new map for Battlefield 2 titled "Highway Tampa". Here's what they had to say about this new content:

Just had a quick go. Lag nearby north airbase is VERY bad, but otherwise OK. Lots of armor, and if you have a good bomber pilot, you're sorted.

Its a good map, forces you really to play anti tank and engineer! Ill post a video and 1 or 2 screenshots I have shortly... Its massive too about 2 or 3 jalalalalalalalalalalabads

Personally I wont be downloading this map.  Its nothing but an advertising gimmick, and again proves how EA want to fuck the community over.  Discussion seems to indicate this map has been finished for 2 years waiting for someone to pay to advertise in it.

In all I'm about done with BF2.  I'll play a bit of pubbing now and again but thats it.
