Got about 550 to spend and this lot is working out at 540 in euro, and the plan is to upgrade the gfx card and add an SSD drive down the line on a few months or so.
I was thinking of using the Gfx card in the dell insted of the one listed to free up cash for somthing better in another part but not sure (its an GTX 250 1gb)
Im sure im not missing anyting and the system's alot better than my 5year old Dell XPS 720.
What ye think? Going to order the parts later this week before my wife finds something "better" to spend my extra cash on  :?:

left the gfx card out as your current one is as good as the 520 and i think you would benefit more from a good base system

Going to grab an SSD for the PC at some stage in the next 2 weeks, looking at this one right now.
http://www.scan.co.uk/products/120gb-intel-330-25-ssd-sata-iii-6gb-s-sandforce-2281-25nm-mlc-read-500mb-s-write-450mb-s-33k-iops-ma

What you think? not looking to spend much, no more than 130-150 euro.

I'd go with either of these tbh any drive with the sandforce controller should be avoided

Check the read/write speeds.
550MB/s - 515MB/s on the SSDs, compared to 1500MB/s - 1300MB/s on the PCI-E cards. They're more suited for people doing 32 tracks of music at once.

Upgrade time \o/  200 odd for new GFX card and an SSD

Not much to play with I know but she's running on an 560gtx and no SSD
I don't need much on the SSD, enough for just a few games or the OS and
one or two games to run on and I see a few 750 nvidia cards going for a 100 or so.
MOBO's a http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8Z68V_LX/ (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8Z68V_LX/)

What ye think, something like a 750 and 120gb SSD should do nicely?

Put it all in the card, SSD can wait, it only gives slightly faster load times in reality?

Agree with Dermot. You may be able to pick up a 120GB SSD for ?50 at a later stage, but you'd be best saving and getting a 240GB SSD. My 120GB SSD fills up fairly fast :(

I has a "MSI GeForce GTX 760 OC Gaming Edition 2048MB" in my machine;
?176 / ?214 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-206-MS&groupid=701&catid=1914&subcat=1830

?225 http://www.komplett.ie/product/zkb-01com/80011815/msi-geforce-gtx-760-gaming-2gb-pci-e/details.aspx

Komplett used to ship for free, but dunno about now. Elara is based in Parkwest, Dublin, and are handy if you can pick it up in the shop. Overclockers, not sure about the shipping to here, but I'd say it'd fit in a Parcel Motel box handy enough. AVOID Pixmania, as they're a shower of wankers.

If getting them off Hardwareversand, let me know; if you place the URL's through a specific site, you can shave about 20% off the order.

Also, what SSD are you getting? Not all are good, and some are horribly bad.
