Ive finally got my problems sorted and am 95% downloaded. Ive never seen such slow download speeds in my life*

Ive got everything downloaded and updated - Source tells me 100%. I launch the game ok, and then get the load screen up. But if I do anything like click options or try to connect to a server the game just hangs.

any ideas besides curse source and boycott any game that uses it?
