Thought this was really interesting.  This map shows all players on the public hives today at 12:00.  The amount of players around the NW killing fields is really high.....

DayZ is starting to get on my nerves tbh. The monotonous run up to the north-west for what? I'd rather we stay south so if someone dies (mostly me) we don't have to keep making that run up. Also it discourages the newbies from getting involved as they're not too familiar with the map. I'm sure we've all noticed a lot of new guys on recently but then they fade out. I know Electro and Cherno can be too much at times so how do you all feel about operating around balota kemenka and pavlovo? we have the military base and the cities close by to loot on a low pop server and then we're back into the action in no time.

Just pick a private server and we can all concentrate on Cherno or Elektro etc on that server.  Few of us have chars on Grumpy Old Gamers we could do it there?

GOG is terrible, the lag is so bad I missed a chap with a shotgun 5m away + 15 secs to bandage. I think I'll stick on the TiG server.

I noticed Bluefish server is back and most of us have characters on it, so we can always jump over if we die!!
