So whats the craic with BC2 servers lads?
Will it be similar to BF2 and the ranked servers from certain providers etc?

A TiG server for what looks to be a great game would rock.

Currently the only servers that will be available will be via ranked hosting providers.  Not sure if there are going to be any in Ireland.  Myself and Grim discussed renting a server from Multiplay for a bit when the game comes out, cost wise wasnt bad at all.

I have tried to speaking to Dice/EA re Irish Hosting servers, but have had not one single reply to around half a dozen emails.  Doesnt bode well I'm afraid.

On the other side, few of us fired up BFV again and having some really good games with that again.

Non Irish hosting wouldnt bother me at all,any servers i rented in the past were uk providers.


Speaking of BFV, is there any way i can run is @ my monitors native res of 2248 X 1152?

Cully--For custom res--C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield Vietnam\Mods\BfVietnam\
settings\Profiles\Default(or your profile name)\video and/or videocustom---I changed it in both.

Change this line so it reads like below--Resolution,colour depth and the last one is your refresh rate.


game.setGameDisplayMode 2245 1152 32 75


Then right click and make (video and videocustom)  read only.It wouldnt stay at my custom res until I made it read only--but you might not have to.

Server ordered.  I've picked up first months cost, Grim will pay 2nd and we will take it from there.  Details will be available on Friday.

We've ordered a 24 man server, 32 is too much in my eyes, and more expensive, from Killer Creation.

Game performs way better for me with less players...  if we could set that to 4 players, I would really appreciate it :P
