Hey cool now i can have a look see what its like. Do u need steam installed to play it or can u play it stand alone? this might make up for not having the bf2 demo. Not that i would have had much time to play it anyway :)

I'm not sure if my machine will run it, it runs Doom3 on the lowest mode, anyone know if it will run HalfLife2 at low settings?

aye it should do its very downscaleable to lower specced machines. you can change the direct x mode it uses iirc.

If u could run Doom3 on those settings then HL2 should be no prob.....provided u dont get the stutterererer bug like my copy....grrrr

.....as for Steam , yes u do need a steam account to make it run .

....Steam is free ,in case ur wondering for those of u who arent sure
