Im only gettin what i need and anyway, im just a youngfella and my boss doesn't pay me enough :(

You cant select the x850 or 2gig. Best graphics card there is X800 XT.

Im just wondering will this rig last long before i have to upgrade for the next gen games?

Pap it up to 1.5 gig or maybe 2 and that graphics card will last a while. Even if you stick with one gig, it's enough for now and you can just slap another gig in anytime because it's easy.

Matrix Elite 3500

 AMD Athlon 64 3500 Winchester 939
 1024MB PC3200 400Mhz DDR Ram
 400GB (2 x 200GB) SATA Raid Hard Drive
 128MB DDR GeForce FX6600 PCI-E
16x Dual Layer +/- DVD Burner
 DVD Rom Drive
 7.1 8-Channel Capable Sound
 1 x RJ45 Network Port (10/100/1000)
 56K Modem

All that for 1,150... I dont mind paying extra if this system isn't up to scratch. I want to make the right decision to pick a system that will last a good while before i have to update.

Thanks for the help so far.

rite, well the fact that you said that the Pc includes a moniter and what not tends to sugest that you are getting this from an proper computer shop....(am i right?) the problem with that is that you might end up getting a bit riped off on that stuff that you got, in the machine and on the desk... im not sure that you actually need the moniter and keyboard and what not as you allredy havw them, so do you realy want to spend the cash on stuff that you technicly do not need and maby spend money on some more RAM and maby a X850 or what not....... you might want to order the bits and build it yourself or with the help of a m8 or what not...

yer, just my thoughts....
