so there was talk of playing tonight, I don't have teamspeak lads so if you pm the password for the server i'll be about after the match.. If it's a major problem with me not having TS - it's because of soundcard issues - then that's no biggie either, as say i'll check back later and see what the craic is hopefully i'll get a rip with yis later on..

I was invited mate, well if you reckon that i'm screwed because I don't have TS then so be it - You want to see me fly planes send me the info, and i'll try and sort out the ts issue for a later date, but i'm not hanging around like a dickhead for over 2 hours like happened the last night fairy invited me and no one gave me any details or info, so stop wasting my time gentlemen.. i'll go now and look for the public server failing that i'll chech back in here by 11pm if I see nothing or haven't recieved a pm, this is the last you will hear from me...

generally everyone socalises in 3 places, here on teh forums, on #tig.ie on mIRC and on teamspeak. 3 vital lines of communications for the running of a clan. I believe in teh invite i mentioned the IRC channel, if not I apologise but as far as teamspeak goes it is a requirement, no one is trying to waste your time. Many systems will run TS fine without a soundcard.

Listen Calibre, we dont get paid to organise and sort out this clan. Everyone does their bit and helps out. There is a sticky in recruitment about joining etc. If you cant be bothered sorting out TS then tbh you'll never get far in clans.

Also we welcome like minded players, players who can give the clan something, players who like a bit of fun and the social end of gaming. What we dont want is gamers who expect us to spoon feed them.

Its a real pity that you had to sound off like that, we are doing our best to create a fun gaming group, as out members will tell you, and tbh we dont need hassle from anyone.

As I explained to Karma i'm using an external soundcard for bf2 at the minute which is a pro audiocard and needs to use proper XLR mic cable's I can't even begin to figure out how to make this compatible with ts - if I use the computers onboard sound BF2 does not work properly for me at all.

However as TS is a stand alone prog i'm gonna buy a usb mic and see if I can input it through the onboard sound and output it through the external card, so fingers crossed.. :salute:

Yeah USB should be fine, TS doesnt need much tbh. Whats your external soundcard model and we can look and see if we can figure a fix.

You could always use a proper mic and mic stand, however you do have to post a picture of you using it as it would look well funny.

Spoon fed? wind your neck in man, it's basic manners if you invite someone to come to a passworded server to at least furnish them with the details, what would it have taken all of 2 seconds to send me a pm?

"Wind your neck in", jebus now isnt that a culchie saying. We use 2 methods of communication Calibre. TS and IRC. Who did you PM asking for a password?

Had you have used either of the two mentioned methods then you would have been given a password in record time.

If you want to join then please stick around. If you want to fire around accusations and use phrases like "then this is the last we will hear of you" then please do dissapear off into the BF2 gaming sunset as I doubt very much you would fit in here.

haha your quare craic man!! the issue has been resolved thanks to a nice civil pm from karma last night.. Look no point in worrying about it, I thought I had made my situation clear about the whole ts thing in the other post prior to the invite last night, and I agree it was a bit of a narky post, but I was just a pishmire as I came straight on after the match so my appologies for it..

LOL man, you'll fit in well here. We need to get more nordies in. Dont say I told you but everytime we play internal games the Nordies completley prawn the southies. Having a good nordie pilot will add to their woes.

I have no use for a soundcard anymore because I use a logitech usb headset, sound quality is amazing. You you consider that.
