OK lads ive just been kicked and banned for excessive teamkilling on your server.
The thing is teammates were showing up as red ie enemy,i reposted this on the server to admins and was still kicked.
There was 5-6 of us on our TS channel and 3 of us reported the same issue.
Myself and Rogue-uk were kicked and banned and id like to strees we are both far from teamkillers and indeed run our own servers and know full well the score.
Incase your unaware it is a known bug on some servers.
My question is,we informed an admin of this issue and before i could say boo i was kicked for excesive teamkilling which is impossible as i sat hiding so as to contact an admin and saw no further action after i informed admins of the issue.

Cool it m8. A bit of confusion was involved. The game has banned u, not us. So try back later. As for the bug, I did not know there was one re the enemy / friendly tag colours.

yea cully m8, its a server thing, and its auto, ban only last a few mins or maybe one round. can one of our server gurus turn that off, i thought it was last night?

btw valen, ive seen tht bug where an ally shows up as red and appears on the enemy teamlist too...weird.

Doesnt seem a flaming post to me m8.
As for the game kicking me,very strange as i was just sitting there away from the action while i was trying to draw attention to the issue when i was kicked.
As i said i wasnt playing the game at this point so its hardly for one tk too much?
If it was then i would have teamkilled just before i was kicked if indeed it was the game kicking for excessive teamkilling.
Maybe the auto kick feature is bugged too?
Anyways no worries cheers guys.
Last thing i want is to be banned from me old clans server

The tk auto kick doesn't happen immediatly after the last kill, some time is allowed your victim to forgive/punish you. Could this be the cause of the delay?

it happens afaik the third time someone does not forgive you for a tk, so its not always an immediate thing. I've seen myself not read it too closely and pgdown and see sone innocent fob get kicked.

There is a bug with the colours but i have not seen it since hellrazer tked me 5 times in one round. :evil:

I thought the forgive/punish option was turned off ? I was tked a few times last night and the option to punish never came up. :wink:

Cully the server tools that the community have been given are terrible. When a server is started the TK option is normally switched on. Unless it is manually switched off then if you TK and are not forgiven then it kicks you.

This kick results in a short ban. You are not banned and only a few of us have the server admin tool set up as its so fecking crap.

We will never ban a player unless he is a complete jerk which I know you are not.

I have found if you accidently run people over, or the like it doesn't always come up, shoot them and it does, not sure if that was just a bug.

aye i experianced this Bug last night,Ranger Showed up as red and on the opposite team...but yet he was a Mec & in our squad

I think the lack of compatibility with ATI cards was done on purpose.

ive just been banned from the server for team killing,

but the thing is i only killed 1 friendly and he showed up as a enemy for me.

could some one let me back into the server?

i really like the TIG server, good people, team work, maps.... and is probally the only local server for UK/irish which is running at 64players and running at a low ping.
