Title: new posts not showing up as new

when i come onto the forum i can see what forums have new posts, but then when i go into that forum and come back out to the main page it doesn't show up the new posts anyway more. Is there anyway u fix this cuz itz fairly annoying, thanks  :)

Thats to do with phpBB. The forum read setting is changed when you visit the forum and not when you read all the theads in it. All the threads should still appear unread.

no it doesn't work and now its not even showing them up just when i come to the site.

I get that problem from time to time aswell. There would be a few threads unread so I would start reading one press backspace and they would be all read. Dunno whether that makes too much sense, i'm just awake. :)

Almost all forum software work that way. In fact I havent seen a single one that has that in default. Less queries, less chance of any errors.
This mod (http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/catdb.php?mode=download&id=892972) keeps the unread flag for unread topics though. Very nice
