I've just updated my client to 1.12

Now get that server updated soon so I can play on TiG ok? :)

On the battlefield2 site there is only a non-ranked server file, do we all need to update?  :oops:  :oops:

Nah he's downloaded it from north Korea or somewhere like that, It should be out tomorrow for Ireland and the UK for the rest of us to update.

Also ranked server files are not the same as the public server files.  So peeps will have to wait I'm afraid.

We have the ranked server files now.

We may update in the morning.

Theres supposed to be an EB2L match tonight so can someone confirm what version its being played on ie. does the team have to update.

I think the patch gives a few more unlocks - nothing major though.

-m95 crosshair improvement

-slight 'video effect' distortion added to TV guided viewscreen

-added 'Squad X has requested X' text in Commander first person view

-prefix now shows up on login screen rather than being blank

-BFHQ progress bar fixed

-more precise commander asset targeting without being fully zoomed

The m95 crosshair improvement is a pisstake it's exactly the same imo tbh..
