Kara team/ZA team.
« on: August 06, 2008, 11:10:27 AM »
o/

As we now have alot of recruits I think we need to sort out who can go were in raiding. We have new healers.Staxx/abe.New tank Karma.

So imo I think these List of people should be easily able to do the First half of kara which is up to curator.

Healers:Abe,Staxx,Elfed

Tanks:Ranger/Grimvil(Whichever wants to come),Karma.

DPS:Surloulou,deadashah,Sid,Erichsen,Boru/Molc/Bouncinbetty(Whichever wants to go).Your proberly looking at the dps thinking it's meh.But tbh we were Meh also.I've been looking on Imba and the reason some  of the players gear scrore is so low is because they did what we did at the start, they went for PvP gear.

For the 2nd half of Kara I think we need to make some changes to the List.

Tanks:Grimvil,Karma/Ranger(Need  a paladin tank definetly for 2nd part imo)

Healers:Elfed,Abe,Mindtrap

DPS:Erichsen,Bouncinbetty,Deadashah,Sid,Boru/Hornenius.

That team above should mop the floor with kara tbh.I'm not naming every player as you can see eg Deoda,Armonia.

But I think we only need maybe 1 strong player and  the rest average players for the start of Kara. Then again I could be completely wrong and it could be a fuckup.

Now for the strongest team for ZA.

Tanks:Grimvil,Irishranger.

Healers:Mindtrap,Badvoc.Need 1 more uber strong l33t healer.Abe and  Elfed are getting there.

DPS:Boru,Hornenius,Bouncinbetty,Armonia,Deoda. That imo is the strongest 5 man team DPS team we can possible have to go to  ZA.

Altho I do think  Erichsen and Sid have  the gear for it.If 1 of the above players cannot go.

We need to get back into raiding. So theres a main list of players who do raid:P.

Comments,thoughts?

Regards

Shano.

I think that all looks good to me. Two things to add.

1) Now I'm going to be a bit of a time nazi on raiding, just because I now need to tell someone when I'm disappearing for the night ;) Can we pick nights for this?

I'm thinking 3 main raid nights:
* Wesnesday (THE TiG raid night, biggest and best always happens this night)
* Thursday (cleanups from Wednesday/Start Kara)
* Sunday

I'm suggesting:
Kara: Wednesday (if enough players not playing ZA), Thursday(To curator), Sunday (cleanup)
ZA: Wednesday, Thursday (if we need a cleanup), Sunday.

2) Just to throw some other players into the list:
Doomfurry was about there a bit ago. He's +1600 healing shammy, so we should really get him into at least the KAra runs at this stage.
Maxi: My drood. Will be trying to slot him in as tank/dps/healer in about 3 weeks on Kara upto Curator. We'll worry about it then.

TBH think should keep Kara till wed/thurs & get it cleared up.  If people don't get in the group they have more time to try and get another group goin or get in a pug at the weekend.  ZA at the weekend and have it as a possibility during the week.  Prefer startin on Saturday myself but majority seem to like sunday.  ZA resets every 3 days like and could prob even do 2 runs over the week without swapping it about with Kara if people wanted.

Was also said last night that should make it Teamspeak is a must.  Totally agree with that, even if it's only listenin in.  Quicker and easier to explain tactics, to shout on chains/flamewreath etc :P  Can't really say there is much excuse for not using it.

Would suggest Calender is also a must & that more people need to start using it.  And if people say they are coming and don't turn up should be skipped on next run.  Same applies if start goin afk for ages in middle of raid for smoke/food/dump etc :P Most can be done at the computer screen.  Guilty myself sometimes of runnin to loo when see someone gonna be afk for few mins :P  But anything over a minute or 2 should prob be avoided durin a raid.

Anyone who doesn't get in on a raid should be trying to getta group for heroics at the least to try and get badges and gear up so get up the picking order hopefully or strong enough to start a second group.

If ZA is going to be run at weekends I can facilitate healing. Weekends will be the only time I can raid from this point forward due to the time difference unfortunately.
